Quick and easy to find. Very clean, actual flushing toilets and running sink water. Huge site that accommodated our 3-seperate family households. Safe, quiet and close to Water Wheel Trailhead, where we enjoyed a hike and cooling off in the creek. We will be back...

Great place near to Phoenix. Only wish is for there to be some ventilation in the showers. I think the temp difference was about 40 degrees between inside and out.

Went in the first week of July with a group of 3 couples. Chose mountain loop, site 008.
Pros:
1. Restrooms are clean.
2. Enough parking space in the group camping as well camp area to put multiple tents.
Cons:
1. Trees are not high enough to provide enough shade in order to be able to sit during noon hours. We had to put chairs under the shade at the corner until almost 6 pm.
Overall, fine camping area but we wouldn’t revisit since there are much better places to camp out there. One good thing was that we got to cover Payson for a bit which is a lovely place.
