What Guests Are Saying

Ponderosa Campground offers beautiful, spacious sites surrounded by tall pines, making it a favorite for many campers. The hosts are friendly and maintain the campground well, ensuring clean facilities and a pleasant experience. However, some sites experience noise from the nearby highway, and concerns about tree removal for maintenance could impact future visits.

We absolutely loved this campground. Very spacious and kept very clean. The campground host, Beth, was so amazing. She checked on us throughout our visit and even recovered my wallet and called me when I left it on the dump station. We will absolutely be back, and with friends to visit this wonderful campground!

We tried out dry camping in our rv for the first time and found Ponderosa quite nice. It is showing its age a bit but everything was acceptable. The best part however, was Beth (and her trusty dog Bailey). She was very conscientious about notifying us and others about a couple of possible problems. There was a wind advisory of possible 50 mph gusts and she was letting people know about it and to bring their awnings and lightweight things in. The next day she alerted us to a nearby forest fire that could have shifted our way but fortunately did not. She next topped her customer service by checking in on a women whose husband had to take the rv into town for a repair. Beth stopped every time she drove by in her cart to make sure the woman was doing alright and had an eta on the rv fix. I suppose my only negative comment is a sign of the times as the Forest Service has put a "pay for dump" station in it is now $10 to empty you tanks. Still, better than nothing!
So, Thanks Bailey (and Beth)!
