Great wooded campground. The camp spot includes a flat area for your tent, a large picnic table, and a metal fire pit. The only downside would be that you can sometimes hear trucks on the interstate when they hit the rumble strips.

Site 46 is a bad site to camp during busy season. It right next to parking lot and during the night people headlights would shine through our tent. It right there next to busy trail.

The team of camp ground hosts keep the facilities clean as well emptying the trash bins. The hosts are polite and seem to enjoy engaging with visitors. Most importantly the hosts ensure rowdy campers are kept in check. Previous visits to the area, loud campers were ruining the experience of enjoying the great outdoors.

Campground is very neat, safe, and easy access to bathhouse. Campground host is super friendly, helpful, and great communicator. He made sure I was aware of upcoming hazard weather. The campsite for pitching tent on is actually suitable for one tent and holds at least 4 people. Or it will be damn too crowded. Overall, I had a great 2 nights stay with my friends and furry pet!

The campground was laid out very well. The sites were spaced out for max privacy. the hosts were very nice and helpful. The bath house was clean , except one of the shower drains was clogged. The camp was near everything a hiker could want. Lexington is an hr away. The woodford bourbon tour is close abt 45 min. or so but remember to make reservations for the tours because the sell out fast. Most campsites can accommodate at least 28 ft rigs. the showers were very clean ( 3 stalls , one is disability rated). overall great site located in the red river gorge.
