We've stayed here multiple times and it's always nice. The bathrooms and campground are clean and well kept. The only thing that isn't great is the road noise from the parkway.

Great time overall. This was our second visit. Campsites are good and roomy. Close to many trailheads which is super convenient. Bathhouse is clean with hot water. Can't wait to come back again

Hiking in the Red River Gorge is beautiful and challenging. The bath/shower house was clean and in great shape. It's a really nice campground.

Clean campground, nice showers and bathrooms. Site was level and accessible. It is close to a highway so there is a bit of road noise through the night. Not the campgrounds fault but just be aware it's not a remote area.

I think all the camping spots should be designated for reservations.
The far East Men’s restroom floor was wet all weekend and it was not raining.

Bathrooms were not clean. There was mold up the wall in the shower. Only one sink worked, but there was no hot water to wash hands with. The campground host wouldn’t answer the door so we could buy ice. (We could hear the kids inside yelling and running that someone was at the door.)

Very nice campground with good spacing between sites and very close to many trail heads. The facilities aren’t too bad (minus a brief flooding issue when we were there) however downside is you can hear the highway at night as it’s not far from the main road. Something to keep in mind

Our campsite was filled with bees and poison ivy surrounded the area.

Campground host never answers the phone or the door to buy firewood. Water in the shower was shut off the last day we were there and not very clean. Only 1 sink and 1 of the 3 showers were broken.

- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect Kentucky's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit https://www.dontmovefirewood.org/

- 2 pets are allowed per site.
- No electricity at the campground.
- This is Bear Country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).
