We loved the location of this campground. Nice drive in access to the site and the pad being completely covered in gravel was nice. Definitely better than sleeping on hidden roots and rocks. We had a site that had access to a trail that was an easy hike, that went down to a set of cliffs that offered a very picturesque view. Also, within minutes of the Natural Bridge Resort this campground is ideal for people looking to camp and hike.

We love this campsite so much. Great bathrooms and the sites are just far away enough from each other.

It would be more enjoyable if a curfew were enforced for quieter conversation after say 10pm.

Clean campgrounds, friendly and helpful camp host but avoid campsite #46, it’s right next to the toilets and smells awful— we spent most of our time in our Van because of it. The other campsites around it seem ok

Took my son camping for the weekend and we stayed at Koomer Ridge Campground. Very clean and well maintained campground, quiet and camping spots were well spread out.

There need to be additional Restrooms! On a Sunday morning, there was a line for the toilet. I'm also not sure why they have the weekend booking rule - fine make a two night minimum, but don't make me book both Fri and Sat night to stay on one of them. You just cause people to leave early or wait in line for the bathroom! But, what a beautiful campground! Very shaded and nicely spaced.

Our Scout troop enjoyed camping at Koomer Ridge. We hiked to Gray's Arch and we spent a day at Southeaster Mountain Guides working our way around the Via Ferrata. This made for a great weekend.

Excellent, remote campground with good facilities. Water and decent bathrooms within close proximity. Shower house is also available.
