Showers are open again!
I was a little worried because the reviews kept saying that she showers were closed.
My wife is not a camper…. Showers are the only way I can get her to come along…..
it was a wonderful campground. Perfect amount of seclusion, nature, and amenities.

The arches in the area were great. There was a bit too much poison ivy surrounding our site. We were there for a week and don't think the bathrooms were serviced. Aside from those issues, the Red River Gorge was pretty incredible!

Spots 21 and 22 are great for going with a group when you aren't able to book a double site. Close to the shower house with clean bathrooms inside. We were able to squeeze three vehicles into the two spots without anyone telling us we couldn't do that.

This is a beautiful campground with outstanding private sites and accessibility to multiple trails. Nice shower house. Summer is hot and humid without electricity and thus AC, bit I would 100% return for a fall or spring visit.
