Although my stay was affected by a horse-riding accident, I was very pleased with the condition of the campsite and the hosts, Joe and Nancy. The campsite including the paddock was very clean and "move-in ready". The camp hosts, Joe and Nancy do an awesome job of taking care of the camp making sure myself and my horse were comfortable and well taken care of. I like the fact that Joe and Nancy are present and available for the campers. They are going around the camp in their golf cart on a regular basis to ensure the campers and their horses are comfortable and happy with the camping experience. Will definitely planning many more trips to Groom Creek Horse Camp.

So far, this is my absolute favorite place to camp with my horses and dogs. The camp sites are spacious, clean and well equipped for humans and horses. Being up in the pines with your horses is hard to beat!

Groom Creek is a one-of-a-kind horse camp only. The stall and highline are placed in good areas of your camp, far enough away so that your dogs do not get in the mix, yet close enough to feel like they are right there and easily watched. It's close to downtown to go grab breakfast, dinner or get a little shopping in. Trails are great in the trees and well maintained.
