There's lots of room here but no rooms. Still give it five stars close to everything but yet far enough away to enjoy the outdoors a wonderful host and a great time enjoying the outdoors

The forest Ranger, who is supposed to maintenance the toilet and restock for toilet paper did not do their job until three days after we had moved in for our camp trip and when confronted about why they had turned off the water, the gentleman forest Ranger who seemed in charge rudely responded. It was on the website before I even had a chance to ask why and drove off without giving me proper response as far as for the campgrounds, they are clean, spacious and come with a concrete picnic table and a fire pit with a removable grill. Just make sure you pack adequately and note there is wildlife visitors in the night. Just make sure to have your food inside your car to avoid any run ins

Fees are $14 a night which is reasonable for not having a shower available. However, they add an extra $8 reservation fee so your total comes to $22 if you only stay one night. For that you get no water, they turned it off November the 2nd???? The weather forecast shows 40 at night 70 during the day for the next 10 days!!!!!! Rediculus!!! The bathrooms smell as nasty as it can be. I will never stay there again.

I Mountain Bike, so it's really great to be right next to Bean Peak trailhead. Also, only a short drive drive to Thumb Butte, and many other stellar trailheads. Old Town Prescott has many good Eateries, and Saloons, where you can Rehydrate and Refuel.

Beautiful campground! Camp host was very friendly. People around very nice. Its very quiet. Vault toilets were clean enough but the flies were overwhelming. Be sure to leave the lid shut otherwise you can smell it if you are near. We stayed for two days. The water was cold from the sprockets. Had a bit of a slope where we camped at #36 but we made it work. The table was also sloped but there were only 3 of us and it didn't bother us much. Had a grill for a campfire. Parking a little tight but enough for our truck to be tucked away from the road enough. It was overall a wonderful experience! I would visit again!
