Hilltop Campground is a very nice family campground. Many sites are shaded and sites aren't on top of each other. The campground is located far enough so you can enjoy the forest and close enough to shopping. And the Camp Host, Andrew is very nice and checks on his campers frequently. Andrew helps make your camping experience very enjoyable.

Our family has been doing a Mother’s Day campout for several years and the last three have been at Hilltop Campground. We have been very satisfied with everything. We already have one of the group spots reserved for 2025 Mother’s Day.

We always enjoy Hilltop Campground. It is clean and well maintained. We have easy access to potable water and vault toilets. Lynx Lake is just down the hill. Our only minor hiccup this trip was the late night noise from other campsites. We had someone using impact tools at 1:00am, and a generator running all night. I have not experienced this on any other visit.

We had a great time at Hilltop. The spaces were far enough apart to feel private.
There was hiking right from the campground to Lynx lake.

Our campsite was given away because the host did not do their due diligence to check we were there and gave away our second night reservation - We booked our campsite for two nights and were camping in our rooftop tent. The first night we arrived at 8:30 PM and left at 5:00 AM because we like to start early. We decided not to leave things at the site because of bears and our rooftop tent comes with us. When we arrived back for our second night, the host had given away our site to another family. The family said the host told them we hadn’t been there in 24 hrs so our res was automatically cancelled. Luckily the family was very sweet and let us car camp next to their truck, however it could have been a really uncomfortable situation and almost left us stuck without a place to stay. Would appreciate if the host would actually do the work to check if people are there, especially
hikers who start early and end late and prefer to leave minimal impact on the site

2nd year in a row staying at the same site. Close to the water and the bathroom. My favorite spot. Always clean. My wife has Verizon and I have at&t, we both get excellent service and data. Helps us feel safer.
