Our site did not have shade during the hottest parts of the day. The restrooms were filthy!
It seems most campsite are designed for tents so you have to go up and down stairs from your site area to your camper/trailer.
So disappointed as Lynx Lake is one of our favorite places to camp.

I liked the campsites, they were all unique and private. My only complaint was that there were a ton of ants; fly's and even fleas. And it did not appear that anyone does a walk through after each person leaves. Trash, cigarette butts..... We picked up a lot of trash that looked like it had been there a while.

Hiking on the path around the lake is good as the west site has an asphalt surface. We also saw others walking with their dog, too.

It was such a nice campground and we were close enough to town to get breakfast and buy groceries.

Nice clean campsite. I got a few bug bites on my ankles. Quite close to town. Pretty trees.

I had a great weekend, was hoping I could beat the incoming storm and get my tent set up but I ended up sleeping in my car the first night. Got up nice and early and spent the day kayak fishing on the lake. It was a beautiful day with amazing surroundings. Got to set the tent up later in the day, fished a little more and called it a night. Got up the next morning broke down camp and packed my car. Hit the lake shortly after it opened, there was an amazing fog across the lake. Got some great photos, tried out my new kayak and tent. Amazing place to camp and have been coming here since I was a kid. Will bring my children with me next time.
