Camp host was very friendly and helpful when it came to local activities. Site was very clean and easy to get into and get out of. The only issue was several of the campsites had broken fire rings including the site I was at.

This is such a great lot! We had just had quick downhill walk to the lake and really enjoyed walking the full loop around it. Ranger was very helpful too.. he gave us a day pass so we could enjoy the rest day at the lake after our check out time.

This is a great campsite. The hosts keep the sites clean and tidy. The fire pits are cleaned out and site pads racked between visitors. The bathrooms are clean and spread around the circle. A short walk gets you to Lynx Lake and the walk around the lake is only 3 miles so doable. Just know you may have to cross some water in a couple of places. Prescott is nearby if you want to visit, and wifi is available in some campsites. Bring some shade as some of the sites do not have much depending on the time of day. The best is the host Lynn, who always has a smile on her face as she welcomes you!

18D was a perfect site with some shade with the tall pine trees for us, our Jack Russell & 35ft A class motorhome. It was our first time here & we will be back. Lv Lynx Lake & the walking path around the lake & the cafe close by.

The area to park the rv at the campsite we reserved was right next to main road. Even after positioning the RV as close to the wall surrounding the campsite, if we put out the slide, it would have completely blocked the road from any traffic. That the parking area was right next to the road should have Beth in the description.

We ended up moving to a different campground so we could put out our slide.

My site was designed to be entered front first vs back-in. However, not only is that never considered a safe way to park in case of fire, but there was no signage indicating that one should park front first. I really struggled to back in, but did it because I’m just that good. My door opened to a slope and I had to walk around to get to the table. After is was settled, the camp host informed me that I should not have backed in. Argh.

1st site down the road from the trash, water, and restroom. 3 little mice live around here so put all food away. Plus bear country, so pack it up. View is either your vehicle or pine trees. Morning shade is iffy, afternoon shade is good.

Campgrounds clean, the host was amazing and wood guy attentive and prompt! The lake was super busy, so did have a good fishing experience, but it was Father’s Day weekend so kinda expected it. We will be back!

We’ve been there before, but this time there was a fire and we had to evalucate a day early, thus the 2 stars. I can’t find anything in the news of the fire. We samw smoke and fire engines, but we don’t know if they contained it and we could have come back.
