Point of Rocks RV Campground

If you want a campground with actual character, this is it. Being nestled right inside the granite boulders gives this place a totally unique feel. It was peaceful, clean, and nice and quiet.

​They have an awesome "adventure trail" on-site that was so much fun, it became our mandatory evening routine.

​If you're planning a trip, here is a pro tip: look for a site in the back half of the campground. It’s much quieter and offers a way better experience overall. Five stars all the way!

One of our favorite campgrounds in Prescott. We have stayed there many times and it never disappoints. The sites are clean and most have nice shade. The views and hiking trails are fantastic. The trail to get a mountain view of Watson Lake is great. They have added a military discount as well.

Well maintained property with stunning view of granite dell. Our site (24-A) area was build of a hill but they really do a good job leveling the ground. Restroom has huge showers and kept super clean. Challenging Lake Watson Hike is right by this site as well as shorter beautiful Adventure Trail walk. They have so much outdoor activities around and I would love to come back for more.. I highly recommend Point of Rocks RV Campground!

Fantastic location to be able to hike to two different lakes. Great RV campground. We were parked right up against the rocks. Very quiet, couldn’t even see our neighbors, bathrooms were spotless with strong, hot showers. We loved the city of Prescott, A short drive to downtown

We stayed in the upper camping area where we had easy access to the trail to Watson Lake. Great for day hikes and walking our dog. We also brought the Mtn Bikes as there are several trail options in this area.
The layout and amenities of the campground are nice. There are hot showers and bathrooms in both the upper and lower areas along with a laundry facility. The store at the Campground is nice for last minute items like ice and bottled water we forgot to pick up. Some of the sites have beautiful rock formations for back drops. Ours looked out over the Watson park area which was an equally nice and provided great views.
The only negative is traffic picks up on Hwy 89 around 6:30-7am. There are a couple local hot rods that like to race out of the area on their way to work. It wasn't that big of deal as my wife and I work remote during the day and play in the afternoons/weekend
