A nice campground just outside of Prescott. Mostly level paved sites with table and firepit. No facilities other than pit toilets and water faucets. Less than ten minutes from downtown old Prescott, yet out in a mature forest. Close to the road, but light traffic at night. really enjoyed our two nights.

For myself, I needed to recharge and just relax, this is the second time I’ve camped here. One of the most enjoyable relaxing stay. Quite friendly campsite and plan if to return anytime that I’m in the area!
Only issue was the oder of the main restroom, there must be a better way to mask the Oder, well basically it’s an issue all over.
Canadians use a blue solution that helps, but does not totally fixes the issue
Great place is stay 👍👍👍👍👍

The only thing we found was bathrooms do not have outside lights for night time usage and we had to wait 2 Days before someone came buy to place our reserved tag on our site. Everything else was good.

Was a very nice campground! It's a great spot for easing people in to camping or if you're a little rusty as it's super close to town. That being said and given other reviews the road noise really wasn't bad at all it's there and you can ignore easily. Great hiking area to the east to explore, lots of good firewood to collect. Heads up lots of insects so pack the spray otherwise you are warned. Campsite is well kept and facilities are clean. Hosts were great when I ran in to them! Other person who drove by was okay, very straightforward and felt like they wanted to tell us to pay and move on. All and all was a great site and would recommend if asked!

Clean, paved roads
The young couple hosts were courteous and helpful. Another older host was somewhat rude. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Lots of nearby lakes to kayak on 🌞

1>. Campground hosts were AWESOME - nice people and very accommodating, 2>.Location was fine, close to town but far enough away to still feel like you were in the wilderness. 3>. Lots of great mountain biking trails around. That is where the compliments end. This is a small campground - NO WAY should massive condominiums on wheels be allowed there - THEY ABSOLUTELY RUIN THE CAMPING EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE. This campground should have a 20 foot trailer or class B vehicle limit. Seriously these people were bringing their houses with them , 40 foot long behemoths that clearly did not fit in the spots but they came anyway. These are not campers, they BELONG IN AN RV PARK. To make matters worse, they run their diesel engines, generators, levelers and other power junk that MAKES NOISE. I will never come back to that campground - we came to camp and enjoy the outdoors what we got was hordes of massive rigs in spots too small for them making racket. The craziest thing is most of these people NEVER even came out of their rig. This is camping how ? Change the rules - plain and simple. Small trailers, class B camper vans and TENTS. That should be it. No RVs the size of city buses, no trailers the size of semi trucks, and their stinky, loud generators.
