The campground feels isolated, yet is close to town and amenities. We enjoy this campground because its easy to visit friends and family in town, but offers a great meeting place for the evening campfires.

Manny, the host, was a fun guy to meet. He sat and talked with us a couple times.

Think we had a bear come through and visit one night. No problem.

Camp host Manny and his wife excellent! The campground is well maintained and clean. Despite Manny’s efforts, a camper in proximity to me ran his open frame generator (in violation of USFS rules) virtually all day, every day I was there. Very rude and annoying. Please enforce the rules meant to ensure enjoyment by all. Thanks!

Great spot. I like how it is higher up so not much rain water flows towards the tent.

Wonderful campground. Large spaces. Quiet, clean, and convenient for spending time on Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott. Have stayed several times in motorhome.

Peaceful woodsy camp; no frills with pit toilets, yet potable water provided. Not far from town.

This is my 2nd visit to White Spar this year. I like its proximity to the town of Prescott as well as the hiking trails surrounding it. The campsite I stayed at has quite a bit of late afternoon sun exposure. Even in our shade structure, the temps were toasty. So some sort of AC or evaporative cooling is necessary this time of year. Warning - the Western Yellowjackets are out in full force. I learned they are quite active in Prescott in July and August. They were unreal when we tried to cook, just after our food. We had to eat in our car because they were able to get into our tent.
