Campground is nice. Price is ridiculous- the $8 fee isn’t at most other rec.gov campsites.
Campsite price is fine but not the price to book the site. Also, not your fault but Applemaps sends you to a new neighborhood close to the campground.

We enjoyed our stay. I do believe that you need to be aware that the space we stayed in is nearly impossible to back a camper into. It is required that you go in on a one way road, and that leaves you having to do some pretty hard maneuvers, to back it in. My husband is an expert at backing up a trailer, so I can only imagine if someone without those skills attempted to do so. Also it doesn't help that there are some very large boulders that you are left dealing with to get around, for backup. Other than that, it was great. The camp hosts are the most wonderful couple. We feel like they are family.

Near hiking and mountain bike trails. This site is adjacent to the camp host and park entrance. Its close proximity to the road and park entrance makes for road noise during commuting hours.
