Camp ground is generally quite, close to Prescott, and Walmart if you forget something. Too hot during full summer (June, July, August) but fantastic in April, May, September, and October.

This is such a cool campground! We visited in April and the bird activity was incredible. Nice hiking too! Composting pit toilets. They have water but water spigots are not garden hose compatible. We had to funnel water into camper. So come preloaded.

Located just outside of downtown Prescott, this is a very nice campground for dry camping in a beautiful high desert forest!
I will stay there every year with pleasure when the summer temps in the Phoenix AZ valley are in the teens!

We love this campground - it's quiet, has dark skies at night, well planned sites, and easy hiking right from the campground.
Close to Prescott's downtown and generally a really lovely place to stop for a while.

Great Park- good amount of space between sites, negative pressure composting toilets (no bad smell), easy access to bike/hike trail from inside park. Only caveat is some of the sites are kinda tight for larger rigs - if you are towing you’ll probably want to disconnect in advance.

Horrible experience! Campsite 6 was literally 8 feet from the other camper which was a 40 foot rv. This should have been a group site. We left and didn't even camp!!
