What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

We’ve camped here several times. We love it. Last time we reserved a site because we knew we wouldn’t be there until Saturday morning and someone was in our reserved site but they moved out without to much attitude. The only draw back is the road in. It’s rough and tight, many areas not wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass. All in all. A great campground

The site was gorgeous!!! The only issue was the bathrooms were disgusting. the smell has so bad that it made me gag. Also the tables at the site were very dirty.

Great views, lake access, not many campers. Road to the campground is rough but passable. The bathrooms are a problem. Not sure what is going on with the 'composting toilets' but they stink.

10/10 This lake is for kayaks, boats, and fishing. The water is not swimming water just FYI. Other than that the spots are well maintained, easy to get into. The road even though it is dirt most cars will make it in just fine. Clean bathrooms with toilet paper and a water spigot. There are plenty of smaller trees but remember where it is. During the summer it's going to get hot! We even went hiking on the near bye mountain just on the other side of the road and it was a decent hike that took several hours. Overall for something close to the city if you like the desert climate was great!

Almost afraid to post a review of this campground gem. Slightly off the beaten path, but not too far. Easy water access to Apache Lake. The campground is basic... Pit toilets, potable water, and no RV hook-ups. Many of the sites have a good number of mesquite trees to provide some shade. It's been pretty quiet when I've been there., although there is some raucous noise spill-over from the Lower Burnt Corral Dispersed Camping area. The hosts and crew do a good job keeping things in order and the place clean. I've seen county sheriffs drive through at least once each time I've been there. If only I could time my visits when the fish are biting...

I made reservations for two days & when I got to the campsite there was other people already set up for the whole weekend. :( very disappointing & a waste of reservations if everyone will not abide by them.
