What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

The site I reserved was not the one in the picture. It was next to the one in the picture. I couldn't get everything set up in the site I was in.

We were at campsite 21. Steep, sloped ground with very little space for a tent. Very loud on a Saturday night. Would recommend a different site.

The last stretch of the road was windy and rutted, but the views were spectacular and the campsite ended up being qorth the drive for sure.
We got in just a bit before sunset and had pre paid for our campsite. We had a hard time identifying the caretakers and assumed someone would come around eventually. No one ever did and e find our spot easily, #27. Perfect spot off by itself but close to the bathrooms (I wouldn't recommend using them however), great bushes close to the campsite, trees for our hammock, grill and firepit, and picnic table.
Campsites overall were really well maintained, hardly any trash on the ground, lots of friendly people including our neighbors who helped us aor up our mattress and shared cinnamon rolls with us. 10/10 recommend. We will be back when it's warmer and plan to bring our paddleboards. Loved the little roped off swimming area.

Road is rough with hairpin turns. Had rained the day before we arrived so washouts and mud in various spots. GREAT camp area on the lake. Worth the drive!

Pretty quiet campground, clean and shady with plenty of space for 2 large family tents.
Restrooms were clean but extremely smelly and at some point we could smell from our site.

The road in and out is a challenge, but other than that it was a wonderful campground.

Great location. Beautiful scenery, very calm and peaceful. When I went I was one of three campers there, so it was great! The host and hostess are super friendly and helpful. The three unpaved miles on Apache Trail to get to the camping are a little rough but totally worth it. The views are amazing.
