What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

Amazing campground. Drive in was a bit longer due to Apache trail closed, but the views of Roosevelt, the dam etc etc made the 2hr drive seem like a breeze. The last 6 mile dirt road makes this place a bit more committed to get to but improvise it’s well worth it. Beautiful, serene, and awesome. Everyone we me t camemom contact with was very friendly. Great place to bring kids and families. Next time will bring the paddleboards- big mistake not doing so. Lake is calm, not many boaters, and water temp was refreshing. Will absolutely be returning!

Scenic campground. Beach for swimming. Dock for boats. Pulled a 27 foot 5th wheel. Drive was a bit rough going the 5-1/2 miles as others have mentioned, but the scenery for the passenger (me) was awesome. Would love to go back but had a few minor things happen to both truck and 5th wheel. Husband says he doubts it.....it's a maybe. Hosts were the best!

Great view of Apache Lake and surrounding desert. Can get crowded and noisy. Camp hosts are overwhelmed and then allow some louzy patrons in the campground to be disrespectful.

Beautiful campground right on the lake with Saguaro cactus surrounding the entire valley. We stayed at a lakeside site under the Mesquite trees. There were many birds, including Turkey Vultures that would eat small dead fish from the shore. Beautiful night sky and dramatic sunsets. During our visit the soaking spring rain washed out part of the road enough that a non-4WD vehicle would be unable to pass. A local group was able to fill in some of the deeper gaps shortly after the rain, at least enough that a normal car could pass. Otherwise road is passable in a normal car.
Camp hosts were awesome, and the park was in great condition!

Wonderful experience! Camp hosts were friendly & gorgeous area. Pit toilets were incredibly well maintained, and plenty of potable water stations. Will definitely return to this area!

Besides the scary drive to the campsite, it was really nice with a beach to swim. Lot 17 is very private.

It was beautiful! Our first time here. The surroundings were beautiful and each camp site looks like a good setup.
Know that there are no showers or sinks. Prepare for that. It also is very warm and sunny in this part of AZ. I'd recommend a 10x10 and sunblock. Bring a kayak or some kind of paddle boat, etc. The water and scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We'll definitely be returning.
