What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

We got completely different spaces than what we reserved online! That stunk but overall we would go back and camp again.

This campground is a hidden gem. Camp Hosts were very engaging and conscious of campers who might negatively impact the experience of others. Rowdy campers were dealt with in a timely fashion. The biggest disappointment on this trip was the further defoliation that occurred since my visit in January. Vegetation that used to provide some privacy between campsites has been trimmed to an extreme. Likewise, the shade providing mesquites. Camping here in the heat of summer will be brutal now given the lack of shade.

Beautiful setting. Camped by the lake. Drive in/out makes it a real adventure.

Helpful and friendly camp host, beautiful site. Some sites more private than others. Some sites were not very level for RV. No cell phone service.

The campground is beautiful. The camp hosts helpful. However our experience was awful. We had loud and rude camp neighbors. From the conversation with the camp hosts it sounds like this is common type of recreation user at this location. I recommend you steer clear of weekends, holidays, and spring break if you want to enjoy this location.

We hit the campground during spring break week. It was very busy and the 10pm curfew seemed only to be a suggestion. Regardless, being so close to the water is great. This was our second time camping there and we will be back many more times for sure.
