What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

Close to accessible water, helpful & friendly hosts and better bathrooms than we were expecting. It is a pit toilet but the building is clean and has a cement floor and electric lights.

Camping area was clean. We were right across from a bathroom. Although it was a pit toilet it was clean and well lit. It had the least odor of any outdoor toilet I’ve ever experienced.
Nice aluminum picnic tables.
Fishing was poor.

Nice campground. Bathrooms clean. Well stocked. Natural surroundings in campsite. Lake views are great! Watch for the red cardinal at water spigot near space 61.
We had to clean the picnic table which was very dirty and clean out the fire rings which were full of ash. . So bring a shovel.
Peaceful in December!!

Great spot. I try to avoid weekends. Those seem to attract the largest number of inconsiderate campers. Hosts are always friendly and keep things looking good. Some sites need maintenance to improve drainage and level out spots for tents. Erosion is making it tough in some sites to find a level spot for a larger tent.

Camp ground with sites lakeside.
I usually don't stay at camp grounds because I like to camp by lake but theis was reaaly nice. Site 35 was awesome for me. We could beach the boat right there.

This is a beautiful camping area. The state has neglected to keep many of the sites trimmed and graded. I brought my own pruners, saw and hedge trimmers on my last visit. I trimmed the site I selected so that I wasn't crowded in by bushes and tree branches. Overall, a very nice stay. Camp hosts are very nice too.

Road getting out here was in good condition from both directions, with the new road going to Roosevelt Lake being paved in most areas. Campground is well maintained, and has beautiful views of the lake. Bathrooms were clean, and very quiet at night. This part of the lake is away from the main lake and it is perfect for kayaking with very little boat traffic.

Beautiful lake; perfect for kayaking and fishing when it's not windy. The road to get there is steep and narrow, but it's worth it!

This was our 2nd time here. I gave it 4 stars because we hardly saw the camp host, and there were overgrown weeds at our site and throughout.
