What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

The hosts, Bill & Teresa, were welcoming, helpful & efficient. Teresa even rescued my kayak that she saw was starting to float away due to overnight water release into lake. Lovely campground & great hosts.

Beautiful location, we enjoyed the lake and grounds, however site had very uneven ground, trees were tremendously overgrown, and had to be manually cut back trees myself just to be able to fit into camp spot.

Only issue was micro-trash in the sites. We very much enjoyed the scenery and boating on Apache Lake. One of my favorite spots to camp!

The host, location, and beauty of this campground are unrivaled by what we have seen in Arizona so far. It was truly a blessing to experience Lake Apache this way.

Campground and setting are absolutely amazing. Completely off the grid (nearest cell service was back at Roosevelt Lake). While we were there, other campers were respectful and for the most part quiet. With that said, the campground hosts do the bare minimum, if that. Their idea of clearing the restrooms after a busy weekend was sloshing a bucket of water on the floors (no mopping); no campsite was cleaned up after a guest departed, there was trash everywhere, and fit pits were filled with ash and old coals. Additionally, and not the host's fault, but there was just a single roll-off dumpster as the only trash receptacle in the entire campground. Nonetheless, we would definitely return!

A very nice spot to camp. First time there. We were in the campground but there are spots down on the beach that are really nice and where I will try next.

Beautiful area. Campsite was full of trash when I arrived. Camphosts were invasive and rude and ruined my experience. Will absolutely not return as long as those two are still employed by the FS.
