What Guests Are Saying
Burnt Corral Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along Apache Lake, with friendly and helpful hosts. Many guests appreciated the spacious campsites, clean facilities, and peaceful environment, making it a great spot for water activities and nature enjoyment. However, there are concerns about pricing inconsistencies, restroom cleanliness, noise from other campers, and issues with trash management that detract from the overall experience.

Beautiful campground. Clean and pleasantly quieter than I thought it would be, except when we got buzzed by 2 fighter jets at 7:30am Sunday morning.
But even that was cool.

Burnt Corral CG is right on Apache Lake where we’ve camped in fall, winter, and spring. It is on a migratory flyway for birds. In early-to mid February, we sighted 19 different species of birds. Stealthy night visitors include bats and javelinas. The common activities include kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing. Fairly hilly for non- electric bikes. The campsites have no electricity, but have fire rings for warmth and cooking. The even numbered campsites are on a first-come-first serve basis while the odd numbered ones may be reserved. This is a feature that is particularly welcome as the road into the camp is narrow and winding though it is now partially paved. The RV dump sites are located at Roosevelt Lake CGs. Pit toilets are clean. The lake itself is clear, surrounded by saguaro-laden hills. Simply breathtaking. There is an on-site camp host couple who are friendly and helpful. This area is one of my favorite spots on our planet. We will return.

Beautiful scenery, clean campground, clean bathrooms. Road into the place is recently paved but still very narrow with tight curves, particularly near the dam.
