Stayed in #51 for 4 nights. Probably the best spot there is. Very private and beautiful views. When we were there I would say the campground was maybe 30% occupied. Pretty quiet. Restrooms opened but no showers. There is potable water on site by the dump station which would have been nice to know so that I didn't haul 650 lb of H2O there. The dump station is also open 24/7 which was not advertised either. That was a plus. Never did see the camp host. No tp in the men's bathroom. I would go again but probably only if I could stay in #51 again.

Campsite 167. Great spot for a small tent. However, very close to a trail. Literally 3 ft away from a trail.
Close to the water spigot, so no need to haul water far.
Parking...well lets just say it's pretty much on the road. Small pull off, but not by much.
The trail is nice, close, but nice. Goes down to where the boat ramp is.
Restrooms are typical restrooms. Running water in the faucet.
Wish they were spread out further.
Has views towards the east, so great for viewing sunrises. Great view of the lake.
Overall, this place isn't bad at all. Expensive, but for the $25 a night, you get running water, trash service and bathrooms. I have spent nights in other areas that charge almost as much and you get less services.

-Nice fishing spot on the north shore of the campground.
-Nice walking trails to boat dock (south) and fishing shore (north) with benches at scenic spots.
-There are children playgrounds everywhere which seem to be unique to this campground.
Site Hosts were very friendly.
-We make Roosevelt lake our winter camping spot. It is not crowded (unless you pick a spot next to the water) during the winter which is great. Odd number spaces can be reserved during this time. Last part of January and the first part of February may see some rare snow.

General
- Maximum stay limit is 14 days within 30 consecutive days on the Tonto National Forest including dispersed areas. During June, July, and August temperatures reach well over 100° and many RV air conditioners cannot keep up. Maximum trailer length is 32'. Extra (second) vehicle charge of $8 per night is required. An RV towing a car counts as one vehicle and a vehicle pulling a trailer counts as one vehicle. There is a maximum of two vehicles at a single family campsite and four vehicles at a double family campsite. An RV towing a car counts as one vehicle and a vehicle pulling a trailer counts as one vehicle. Fee can be bundled with online reservation or purchased on-site at fee machine. Maximum of 2 vehicles per single campsite and 4 for double campsites.Boat ramps are usable when water elevations are higher then 2,110 feet.Fireworks are always prohibited on National Forest Land.
