Beautiful location with outstanding views. More of a place to go boating than to hike but the views were spectacular.

The campground was virtually empty because of the time of year. We had beautiful views. We were on Squirrel loop. A couple of days it was a little windy and we couldn't have a campfire. We visited in late Jan. to early Feb. Our camp host was very helpful and friendly. Be sure to check out the cliff dwellings and if you have a tow, take the drive to Young. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay there.

Unobstructed view of Lake Roosevelt. Water access at this site. Clean restrooms and warm water showers. Pleasant informative camp host.
My non-major cell phone provider- service is best here at Coyote camping area at the windy hill.
Marina to the north and store With Gasoline to the south off AZ 188 both within 5 miles both with very good dinning choices at reasonable price.
