Great tent campsite, farther from the highway and deep down by the creek. Site maximum vehicle sizes seem oversold though, it was a REALLY tight fit in my 20' travel trailer, and the sites aren't level. Pine Flat, just up the road, seems to be a much more RV-friendly site. But this one is great for tent camping.

Any of the campsites that are reserved on the A loop a pretty private and nice. I would not stay at any of the others, they are quite close together. Avoid a worker who is male with tattoos on the back of their calves. He is unnecessarily rude and abrasive with absolutely no provocation at all. Did not let him ruin our time, just avoided him after the first interaction.

Friendly service. Quiet location. Close to Sedona and hiking. Only downside - the smell from the washrooms spread across the campground; perhaps they should have been emptied? Overall - I would recommend it.

The Campground itself is fine. We were at site 6 on Loop A right across from camp Host. For the 1st time ever out of all our years of camping The Camp Hosts were the Loudest ones at the campground. There Dog kept barking & was never on a leash. They kept yelling at their dog to shut up & kept chasing the dog. They seemed to detail the restroom closer to their site & neglect the rest. If your going to stay here i Recommend reserving a site clear away from Camp Host.

My 4 yr old and I camp here and we had the most amazing experience this year. The campgrounds were SUPER clean, especially bathroom facilities. The showers were 24 hours (THANK YOU), as opposed to closing at 5pm last year. You can buy firewood and misc camp items at the ranger hut where you check in.

Watch for skunks when you go, make sure all food is in good sealed containers. Skunks visited every night and were super cute until my dog got sprayed lol but he’s okay, the smell went away in two days. Squirrels will also steal food so watch out for those cute lil punks too lol!

We had the warmest greeting from the am ranger lady and the ranger couple that ran the station really made our visit! My son had a blast visiting them everyday after our oak creek adventures. We bought ice cream, snacks, and candy everyday and they really helped us out w camping tips, trails, putting my son’s headlamp together, getting the frisbee, and everything else!!! Thank you so much for hosting us, you made our trip super special especially for my son!!
