I really liked this campground. The staff were really nice, beautiful location, the sites are well kept. There is swimming hole within walking distance, and it's very relaxing. The small store has a good supply of items you may need and they have hot showers too. Will be back for sure!

Host is delightful and treats you like a guest at her b&b! Trees are gorgeous with shade and a river. Beautiful spot in a gorgeous canyon. Close to Sedona for dinner. Clean too except the showers are old (warm though). Nice spot!

It is a well-run campground. In a fantastically beautiful area. The campsites are close together, so part of the experience is living close to complete strangers. How friendly or noisy are they? It is easy to walk 5 minutes to get to places of great solitude.

Heavily used campground, no hookups, several water locations, well staffed, roads in great need of repair.

I grew up in the northwest and have some great memories camping with my family as a kid. Now an Arizona resident and father, I always hoped to build those same camping memories with my own family. My daughters are 8 and 10 now so we decided fall break would be a great time to expose them to new traditions. I’m home now after 3 days at Cave springs I don’t think I could have asked for anything more. It was perfect.
-The sites are all very clean and diligently cleaned by an attendant right after checkout
-the septic style bathrooms are cleaned daily
-all staff were wonderful and friendly
-LTE signal was strangely perfect and we had internet everywhere to keep my 8 year old busy in down times
-the fishing was plentiful and my 10 year old caught her first fish ever this weekend.
-the entrance fee station has a small store attached for necessities. Firewood is $7 a bundle.
- .gov registering only allows 1 car but you can park a second for $10. Wish we had known that ahead of time.
Overall, I have zero complaints and am hoping to book again as soon as it reopens this spring

Nice and pretty campground. Staff was nice and helpful and did a great job cleaning up individual sites after campers checked out. Pit toilets; no sink; no sanitizer. Small store at the entrance with firewood and some necessities.

Cave Springs is one of my favorite campgrounds for its location and relaxed vibe. Highly recommend travelling during the fall season to see the beautiful oak trees change colors in mid-late october.

We went for our first time in October. The grounds were well maintained and clean. Toilets smelled but that is normal with the type of toilets they are. Noise level is loud at night until 11 or even 12. WE also had a group that was up at 5 am each morning and loud as can be. D-11 we had a friendly skunk every night come out (well I guess there were 4 total based on other campers).
Great hikes near by.
Easy access to the site
Nice/Friendly staff
Overall Great experience and we will be returning to our friendly skunks.

I really like Cave Spring. Very sheltered and quiet with great access to both flagstaff and sedona.
The amenities are primitive and that is fine but be aware certain sites near the toilets can smell them... constantly. That was the only downside as far as Im concerned. Lots to do at the grounds and very peaceful . The showers while primitive are certainly welcome.
