Love cave springs I’ve been camping here for 60 plus years! Bathrooms were cleaner than i expected and love they don’t allow music speakers anymore. Was quiet and peaceful .

Great spot for the family. They provide everything you need for necessities. Also the creek is walking distance and is such a great view. Will definitely be back here for many more adventures

Vault toilets are just gross and didn’t offer seat covers. They have showers so why not toilets and bathroom sinks to brush your teeth? They close the showers at 6:00 so if you’re not back from hiking or dinner or in my case, a class I was taking in Sedona, you’re out of luck! You can’t even wash your face because there are no bathroom sinks! I brushed my teeth at my site, but not easy to wash and rinse my face.
Also, I assume it was the camp host, would come around every night after quiet hours-9:00, and shine their flashlight at my car window, to check my tag I guess, and then shine it all over my car- a truck that I built a bunk in the back to sleep in. I was there for three nights and they flashed all over my car for three nights! Maybe they were perplexed because they didn’t see a tent set up. I’ll never camp there again or recommend. The sites are not private at all either. Not even a little bit. One night a truck towing a large tent-camper came in late and wasn’t able to back in his lot as the angle was weird - as were many of the sites- so he had to leave. I hope he got his money back. It’s old and shoddy. Needs major make-over.

I rated this camping site a 3, as I'm not a fan of how the sites are layed out. We were in site E7 and site E8 was right on top of us. The table for our site E7 was 60 feet away from the site and only 20 feet away from the Open Air bathroom, so quite smelly. We walked around and several of the sites are doubled up the same way.
If we will every return, we will be sure to book both sites to have room to enjoy the stay.

Site F12 was a great site! Partly shady and sunny, plenty flat for our 2 tents and space for 2 cars, and a quiet part of the campground. Water spigot was nearby, although restrooms were quite a ways away. Ranger was very helpful. I wish I had known that I could have gotten 1/2 off the per nite price with my Golden Age Pass. I don't remember that being the case before, but will remember it for next time. Sedona is still very crowded post quarantine, expect full parking lots for West Fork and Slide Rock, go early if you want to hike there.

You can’t beat the location, but the late check-in time and early check-out mean we didn’t get to have any creek time in the sun, and the water is so cold you really need it. The campground was very very noisy with campers blaring loud music, camp host using a leaf blower, and two men coming into my campsite to mansplain camping to me (including the camp host). I wouldn’t stay here again.
