Cave Spring

Tent camped for 2 nights for last weekend they were open end of October and it is a beautiful campground. I liked this campsite for the space and proximity to the restroom however, I know now not to book again so close to the creek/road because I could hear the traffic until way past midnight. It was still a great experience. The firepit is nice and deep. The staff at the store/check-in are super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and recommended hiking trails. West Fork is literally a 5-minute drive but unfortunately, there is no way to walk there from the campground which is disappointing. They had lots of good wood for only $8 a bunch and sold nice shirts/souvenirs/snacks. I definitely will camp here again.

Beautiful campground with friendly staff.

Beautiful, spacious and shaded spot. It was 10+ degrees chillier here than in Sedona proper which would be great for prime summer time. I loved this campground and the oversized space. Only complaint is that, as a tent camper, I wanted to use the showers and those were in subprime condition. Would not recommend. Other than that I would definitely recommend this beautiful campground. Campstore and firewood available for purchase were very convenient.

everything was great but next time we will pick a spot not close to the main road. hate hearing cars whishing by while camping

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds. A little small but was perfect for 2 people in a mid size SUV.

Pros:
- It was a beautiful area and close to Sedona
- our site was clean, had a table and fire pit, and was flat for tents
- camp store with firewood and ice

Cons:
- there was 1 bathroom for the entire campground... so we had to walk super far to use it. I've never experienced so little bathrooms.
- sites in F loop are really close together, but I guess that's to be expected.
- our neighbors were super loud way past quiet hours, and they had over 16 people and 3+ tents in a single site. Nothing was done by the camp host, so clearly no rules are being enforced here.

- not a bad thing per se, but I wish we would've known that the water is turned off in winter. We didn't have much water with us because we normally rely on the spigots, so we just had to go into town to get water. We just wish it was communicated.

Overall, no point in staying here in winter. We would rather stay in BLM instead of paying for a site with little bathroom access and no water.

I camped at site #21. My truck was hit on the front drivers side. By a tan something, don’t know (truck, trailer, RV ?) no note

Good for families that want to interact with their neighbors but very tight spaces. The camp host was very nice. Somewhat sad that we weren’t able to burn a fire. It didn’t say that anywhere on recreation.gov? Usually it will say it’s a no burn site at the moment.. Bathrooms were clean. All in all, it was okay.
