The camp ground was clean. There was a lot of trash receptacles which made disposing of waste very easy. Check in was very efficient. My only complaint is that many people had campfires which made the camp ground very smoky.

Staff was helpful. Check in was quick. Campground and bathrooms were clean and stocked. Quiet at night except for a few cars on the highway nearby but generally very quiet(get a spot further back from the highway if you’re a light sleeper). Many trees create privacy for the Reservation Only spots.

Campground was awesome. Very clean and well maintained. Shower system is very convenient with HOT water. Our campsite is right next to another group a bit too close but everyone was quite after hours. Will definitely go back!

Clean and very nice grounds. People are pretty close to each other but everyone was respectful and by 10-11pm it was nothing but silent

Beautiful campgrounds, clean showers, awesome little creek running along side of the campsites...close to beautiful Sedona and a close drive to flagstaff. Friendly hosts and personnel. Fishing is average with stocked trout. This was my first time in the Sedona area...I will come back.

We really liked this campground because the spots are so nicely spaced and it’s so green! It’s also cooler than Sedona. The park ranger was very friendly and welcoming. Nice showers too!

Great campground and hosts. All were friendly and helpful. Sure wish vault toilets could be upgraded. Dumping facilities would be great along with electric hookups.

From Phoenix, take I-17 to Highway 179 north toward Sedona. Turn north on Highway 89A and continue for 11 miles into Oak Creek Canyon.
From Flagstaff, take I-17 to Highway 89A south. Follow 89A for 18 miles to Oak Creek Canyon.
Elevation: 1649 feet
12 mi drive to downtown Sedona (about 25 min)

General
- Oak Creek is very crowded, especially on weekends; it is best to come on a weekday and arrive early
- No radios or amplified devices allowed
- No hookups
- No horses allowed in the campground
- Motorbikes may only be used for entering or leaving campsite
- Check out the forest's campground description for specific information to Fish Your National Forest
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- No portable showers or toilets allowed in campground
- Showers are token operated only, they do not accept quarters.
- Campsites must be occupied first night of reservation
- Campsite cannot be unattended more than 24 hours
- Swimming and fishing access
- The camping stay limit in Red Rock District is limited to 7 days
