Very nice experience at this campground. We stayed in loop A and our site was nearly perfect. Plenty of shade, so much I had trouble finding a spot to charge my solar panel. Place was lush with trees to provide adequate privacy between neighbors. Just a gorgeous site. Only downside was the high walls on the fire pit. Oh and I was extremely surprised how clean and odorless the restroom was each of the 4 days we stayed there

In the National Forests RV camping book, we were told all sites were for RV's. That is not true and confusing to deal with when you get there. Only half or less are doable. The sites are not level and therefore uncomfortable for leveling. Not premadonnas, we knew there were no hookups, but, no reason not to level the sites in the first place. Right?

This is a great place. Quiet and calm like I like. The bathrooms and showers are clean. The only downside was our campsite flooded and we had to dig a trench for it to drain. There are so many places to see around there you don't even have to get in your car again until you leave. We did 20 miles of hiking around there during our stay.

There were these big trash cans practically in the way in many places sticking out into the roads. Had a hard time backing up our camper trailer because of them. The roads through the all of the sites were very narrow. Some sites weren't long enough for a camper trailer and the truck. The creek by the campground wasn't very accessable or easy to get along side. The showers didn't have any benches in there . Pretty place though.

Beautiful place. I've been here twice and I'd be happy to book a 3rd stay.
I like that there are drinking water spigots around the camp. The restrooms were always clean and did not smell every time I went there. It's cleaned regularly and I appreciate that.
The camp is a nice area and I felt pretty safe.

Clean and quiet place, well taken care of bathrooms. No trout due to storms, but had a good time with the family. Highly recommend this camp sight area.

I fairly enjoy this place. The river runs along and there's natural pools for the kids. Showers and ice available.

From Phoenix, take I-17 to Highway 179 north toward Sedona. Turn north on Highway 89A and continue for 11 miles into Oak Creek Canyon.
From Flagstaff, take I-17 to Highway 89A south. Follow 89A for 18 miles to Oak Creek Canyon.
Elevation: 1649 feet
12 mi drive to downtown Sedona (about 25 min)

General
- Oak Creek is very crowded, especially on weekends; it is best to come on a weekday and arrive early
- No radios or amplified devices allowed
- No hookups
- No horses allowed in the campground
- Motorbikes may only be used for entering or leaving campsite
- Check out the forest's campground description for specific information to Fish Your National Forest
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- No portable showers or toilets allowed in campground
- Showers are token operated only, they do not accept quarters.
- Campsites must be occupied first night of reservation
- Campsite cannot be unattended more than 24 hours
- Swimming and fishing access
- The camping stay limit in Red Rock District is limited to 7 days
