The last two times we’ve been there the showers are not working, but we still love this campground. The creek and wild blackberries are such a hit with the kids! Close enough to Flagstaff and Sedona in case you forgot anything and just up the road from side rock if you’re willing to endure the chaos there. But either way the campground is right on the creek, they have bathrooms and running water. We stay at this particular campground every year without fail and will continue.

“We absolutely loved our stay at Cave Spring! It was our very first camping trip, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The campground was beautiful, and the kids had an amazing time exploring and enjoying the outdoors. It was such a memorable experience for our family, and we can’t wait for our next visit!”

Our experience was freat and restful. I remember when my kids were small they used to have movies and sing a longs in the evening fir the kids. We miss this with my grandkids and it would be nice to have it again. Very nice campsites.

The campsites were very well managed, and we really enjoyed the easy walking access to the creek. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the bathrooms. We expected basic vault toilets, which is completely normal for a campground, but the condition of these were concerning. The floors felt as though they could cave in at any moment-you could actually feel them shifting beneath your feet, almost like standing on a boat. It made using the facilities feel very unsafe.

If your expecting showers don't. Unless you take them with the coldest water you have ever felt. If a campsite says it has showers for you to use you at least expect warm water .. not an excuse about the water heater catching on fire.. So what get it replaced pronto, I went camping there because of the access to a shower and I have to take one with ice water. That's about the only complaint I have. The campsite is clean and maintained just fix the showers.

Campsite (F14) was spacious. Campgrounds were clean and well-maintained. Would definitely return.
