Clean and well staffed with friendly people. Drinking water was available but did not have hose connections to fill RV water tank. Some sites are very tight in length for parking of trailer and vehicle. Great location and lot's of trees enjoyed our stay!

The area was absolutely beautiful. By far, one of our favorites in AZ. Helpful rangers on site. Showers, bathrooms very clean. Quiet and remote. We relocated to a different site closer to the creek when we saw it was available, ranger was happy to allow it. We were just sad we had to leave a day early due to wildfires near us. They refunded us. No problem. We were able to relocate south of Prescott to another campground, recommended by ranger. Thank you!

The site was great... I wish other visitors would treat it well. The camping slot was in good condition and kept in good condition. The many large trash containers were left open and not secured; unsure if animals are a concern here but its not my practice to leave them in that condition to lure animals. 80% of them had large pieces of cardboard and large garbage bags of trash (appears that many first time campers purchased new gear that wasn't unpacked at home first). Across the street from the camping is a nice trail I recommend doing for sunrise or in the morning. Steep climb with great views. Never interacted with the host(s) but they were visible if needed. Overall a good experience.

Have been camping here for over 46 years. A lot of changes throughout the years. The last 10 plus years had been a little uneasy as the hosts had been too strict with everything. I had 5 spots reserved and we were all very happy with all the hosts. Younger generation was absolutely wonderful.

We hadn't been to Cave Springs for a couple of years. The last time we were there it was overrun with people. And so smoky from campers fires my throat hurt. This time was a very VERY pleasant experience. It was uncrowded and it seemed that nature had rebounded. There were squirrels everywhere, robins, blue jays and lots of other birds and the greenery was lush. Even hear that someone saw a deer. I don't know if it was because they changed it to make it mostly reservation only or if the lack of visitors during covid played a role. We saw many campsites with reservation signs on them but with no one there. It was quiet and cool. We had a group of between 15 and 21 people across the week and had 6 or 7 campsites on the A loop. We would gather for meals, especially dinner and only once were asked by the management to be quieter. In the past with a group that big, they always hassled us. The management people were great. As soon as people checked out, they were there cleaning the campsite for the next reservation. The creek was beautiful as always, especially not having tons of people leaving trash and dirty diapers as in previous years. The creek was down, not even reaching the road. Whatever you guys are doing to Cave Springs... keep it up. We thoroughly enjoyed it this year, even tho the showers weren't working.
