We love this place. Well maintained and improvements have been made. Access to the creek is great. The shuttle is available at the 89 turnoff so getting to trailheads is easy. There is a great slick Rock and a trail ( Templeton) an easy and short walk from ranch. We brought board games and the large table is awesome. We love this place and are so grateful to Forest Service

This is an amazing opportunity to stay in the heart of the Sedona red rocks. The views and the nighttime frog concert were amazing! It has amenities like shower and kitchen and electricity while still maintaining rustic charm. It is a large house with plenty of room.

Had a great time. So beautiful in this area. This is more like a nice house than the cabins we have rented in the past. Really nice place with great views and fast access to the creek

This is a special place and special location. As lifetime Arizonans we greatly appreciate the history of the ranch and its inhabitants. Sedona activities are unlimited. We choose to not leave the property and do all of our hiking from the ranch location. Sedona offers many different outdoor opportunities.

Incredible historic property situated in an awesome setting. Expect that amenities will be older with normal wear and tear but overall everything functioned well and past guests honored their basic cleaning responsibilities along with general upkeep provided through USFS. Well below the cabin along Oak Creek expect an active stream of day visitors walking from nearby State Park but did not detract from overall beauty of the experience and at sunset all went quite and was very tranquil and private. Very easy to drop in and enjoy your own hike along Oak Creek into historic State Park based around Crescent Moon Ranch or turning upstream one will find some very pretty settings. The ridge line above was very popular and being in the cabin made for a short drive up to a pull off inside the gate making that ridge line walk to really convenient.

This cabin is phenomenal!! There is tons of space, the beds are comfortable and there is cutlery and bowls/plates/mugs in the kitchen. You can easily see the Milky Way from the benches in the backyard. I went with 6 friends and we were amazed by the cabin and had more than enough space. The only thing is there is not much service at the cabin, which is understandable and we didn’t stay long enough in the area to explore trail access by the cabin but there are trailheads at the top of road by the gate! We had a great time and I’m waiting to get lucky to book this cabin again!

A unique experience being in the middle of red rocks and next to a creek, a tranquil, nostalgic environment, with plenty of room to accommodate large groups. Incredible views during the day and perfect conditions to watch the night sky.
