This was a lovely location, but do remember it is like camping in a cabin, there were spiders! The showers had warm water and the electricity worked great - fridge and appliances were functioning top notch. It was clean when we arrived and we did our best to ensure it was clean when we left. I would stay here again!

Great place for making great memories! This was our 3rd & best time renting this lovely cabin, the last being 2 years ago. We arrived to find all new appliances & that pesky slow-draining kitchen sink fixed. Our group of 6 especially enjoyed cooking & dining together in the indoor patio gazing up at stunning Cathedral Rock.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The history of the cabin and the work the rangers and volunteers have done to keep this area preserved. Amazing.
The place is very spacious and has all of the needed amenities. This is a great spot for families to gather. Close to the nearby park and recreation area.
Jaw dropping scenery. Very happy with our stay. I would definitely go back . I would definitely recommend staying here.

Had a little trouble following the directions in the dark. My bad. Great place, set up and on line access. Life is good when it works right. Hope to have a chance to visit again some day.

The cabin was fully equipped, clean and super spacious. The view to Cathedral Rock is spectacular. I went with my family to celebrate my birthday and it was one of the best birthdays ever. I loved every minute of it!

Crescent Moon Ranch Cabin far exceeded our expectations. The views and privacy are incredible; the kitchen is stocked with cooking gear; and there are beautiful easy hikes close by. Since you are dependent on other travelers, we did need to clean the bathrooms upon arrival since the prior guests didn't appear to; also the bath mats most definitely need replacing as they are quite worn and dirty. We were blessed to have a friend in Sedona that provided us with bedding and towels but you could
manage with sleeping bags and packing your own towel(s) if need be. Cleaning supplies are plentiful! Only other suggestion is that combination lock for gate is worn and the numbers can be difficult to read at night -probably would be good to replace it. Highly recommend a stay at this marvelous cabin!

The view was spectacular. The beds are comfortable. However, the kitchen was a mess when we checked in. The dishes washer is broken and the previous guest left all the dishes inside and on the count. The sink was clogged and smelled terrible. The bathroom was also very moldy. And one bathtub was clogged.

A fantastic, rustic cabin with an incredible view off the back patio! We were very comfortable with 6 Adults and 4 Kids. The directions were a little tough for me ... to add, the gate is at the end of a trailhead parking lot. The gate is at: 34°49'47.37"N and 111°47'58.22"W; from there it's down the hill on a wide gravel road and left at the T-end towards the cabin driveway. Two kitchen 'issues' : the stovetop burners were on/off ... no temperature control and the oven smoked like a chimney (dirty and no temperature control); and the fridge ice-maker did not work (I know - a luxury!). Since the cabin accommodates up to 12, and while there is a large picnic bench off the kitchen, it would be nice to have more than 6 chairs for the dinner table in the great room. The patio BBQ is great - newer, hot, large 4x-burner surface area. Comfortable beds and bathrooms; the small sink-shower bath off the kitchen is in need of some TLC / remodeling. With small kids, suggest there are a number of safety hazards that can be handy-man fixed; exposed rebarb tips in the pony wall that could be cut-off, some trip-spots in the walkways. Suggest the next 'upgrade' would be the futon/couch coverings in the great room; feeling more 'grungy' than 'rustic'. Overall, we had a great two nights; highly recommended and exceptional value at $200/Night for the location (VRBOs and AirBnBs at $500++). Thanks to the volunteer cleaners, the courteous Crescent Moon Ranch Park hosts, and the USFS for the Cabin Program! We'll be back!

Although it's a beautiful facility, the smoke detector started beeping in at night and we couldn't get it to stop, so we left in the middle of the night.
