My only concern was the traffic noise given how it’s smack dab next to highway 89A.
Besides that, I very much agree enjoyed my stay!
The campground and toilets were pristine.
Camp hosts Jerome and Anne (sorry if I get the name wrong) were very friendly, helpful and attentive.
I look forward to re-visit soon. 😌

One of the most gorgeous campsites. Went in November and there were fall leaves everywhere. Site 4 is one of the more private sites, behind it is a small walking trail with access to the creek. Very quiet, bathrooms were clean. I had heard the drinking water is a little funky but I didn’t test it, but it’s easy to just filter the creek water. Not much service for T-Mobile. Will be back!

The campsite is very neatly maintained. Check in was easy. Firewood available on site. Very Peaceful. Some road noise from the 89 highway but settled down at night and likely won't bother most people. Entrance to campsite of 89 could be better marked. Comes up on you very quickly. A bit of a challenge getting back onto the highway if traffic is busy.

Beautifully rustic atmosphere with the sounds of the creek flowing by completing the experience.

Very well located between Sedona and Flagstaff. Exellent base for exploring that area. Will definitely us it again i I travel in that area.

We arrived a day later than planned because we decided to spend an extra day in the Grand Canyon area after completing the Rim-to-River hike via Tonto West—a challenging 20-mile trek in a single day. During our stay, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the site. On our free day, we hiked the beautiful West Fork trail and truly appreciated the campsite. The grounds were very clean and well-maintained, and firewood was conveniently available for purchase.

This would be a great campground if it were not directly off the road. Traffic did reduce to a minimum after 10pm but picked up again early in the morning. Trailhead is across and up the road a bit. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

First time here and it was a great vibe from the start. Being a tent only, it’s so nice to not have generators running at all. Super chill vibe spot and bathrooms were clean too.

Yes, traffic is nearby. Yes, when there is no traffic the white noise of the creek takes over this place. Unfortunately, it is pay site; for one of the most beautiful spots in Oak Creek; steps from your camp. Yes, it is packed in. Yes, when you wake up in the morning (if you’re staying more than one day) you will wake up to an empty campground during the week. Most of the time campers don’t run in till after six to 7 o’clock. A campers wet dream if you like supporting double taxation; extra money for reserved camping, but a clean quad of pit toilets and swimming holes. Reluctant as I may be to say; since I have seen some things……, this place is worth your dollar. Enjoy the trip.

As others have said, these sites are VERY close to one another. Site 14 was not bad but site 10 is terribly small. Would not recommend this campsite.
