The campground was nicely situated along Oak Creek in the canyon above Sedona AZ on a wooded site that offered good visibility around the grounds and of the canyon. There was easy road access to Sedona and to the many hiking trails of the Red Rock Country. It was well managed and maintained. All sites were ready to use with a good picnic table, fire pit and charcoal grill. The pit toilets were kept clean and stocked. I hope to return as my son and I greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our family stayed mid March in spot 19 which had plenty of room to spread out, but noticed that the campground itself is very chilly…! We’re from Phoenix, so 42 degrees at night is cold for us. Keep in mind that this campground is between 2 rock mountains and the sun finally comes through the mountains at 9 am (in March). Very close to Slide Rock, a must do as a family. Although Sedona was absolutely crazy busy this time of year and we noticed all the prices raised, even at Chipotle we had fun. There’s a creek w/ running water, bathrooms, but no shower. Running well water to wash up though. Note, this campground is right by the road, no matter what spot you have. Grounds keeper/host was very nice and accommodating and mostly kept to himself. We will return in the summer when it’s much warmer because we love the heat! Happy camping!!! 🏕

Great campsites located just outside of Uptown Sedona. Nice picnic table, fire ring, and grill at our campsite! There are lots of trees for shade. I'd recommend sites #4 and #18.

Jerry is doing a great job keeping the campground in an excellent condition.
Restroom has the best smell (not kidding!) that I've ever smelt in an outdoors restroom.

Good location. Quiet camper (no generator). Traffic noise is not issue for me.
One issue drinking water. Water color changed clear to yellowish over night (12hours) and later(24 hours or more).
