It is a wonderful campground right off the road, the host was very nice and had plenty of firewood to sell. Mostly tents and that is the experience I was looking for. Oak creek is right next to camp and it was running full as the storm had just passed. Beautiful and easily accesible. For some maybe the road might be too close to camp.

Our camp host was awesome! The Campground was easy enough to find and close to town. Given that the campsites are backed by the river, there are plenty of good fishing spots. All around awesome experience!
The only thing worth mentioning that wasn't fantastic: in the winter months, this campground gets pretty cold. This is particularly true of the 2 sites next to the campground host. The sites sit next to a ridgeline, so there is not a lot of sun coming down, and you are basically at the back of a wind tunnel. So pack warm!

The spot was nice. It was too cold for me. Camp host was not home when I went to talk to them.

Convenient campsite for the Sedona area. Very crowded but most everyone was respectful of quite time after 10pm. Did have one character chopping wood at 11:00 that night. Glad I brought my earplugs.
