This is a 5 out of 5 campground and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Lydia and Dennis, the campground hosts, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and safe. They make friends with everyone in the campground and every time I saw them, they were chatting with someone and laughing with a new customer. They are the kindest, sweetest people and I would go back to Manzanita just to spend time with Lydia and Dennis. They are truly angels.

The campground itself is a hidden gem in Oak Creek Canyon, just minutes from downtown Sedona. It's right on Oak Creek and people literally hike DOWN to the campground to spend the day there along the creek because it's such a beautiful, magical spot along the river! The river literally flows through the campground and at night you can hear the river and dunk during the day. Manzanita is a magical place and I will be back!! A HUGE thank you to Lydia and Dennis.

Nice, small campground. Closest to Sedona and lowest elevation of all campgrounds in Oak Canyon, so warmest at night. I’m physically disabled (use a walker). If you’re mobility impaired, be careful about which site you choose. Several sites (10-??) require climbing stairs to get to the site. Site 9 was completely accessible (dirt only) for me, though bathroom seemed too far away and up a slight hill. Aside from accessibility considerations, sites are very close together and literally right off the road. Signage isn’t great so be careful to go slow when GPS says it’s coming up. No traffic noise at night and campers were mostly respectful of time. Verizon service was great, even did a FaceTime call just fine. If visiting Sedona again, I will 100% return.

Very clean restrooms, nice creek access, running water, overall a nice experience. My only complaint would be that our site, #4, has a trail that runs right though it so people constantly walked through our site and around our stuff, we were never told a trail would go through the middle of our site
