What Guests Are Saying
Bonita Canyon Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and well-maintained sites, making it a lovely and peaceful place to camp. Hikers enjoy the breathtaking views and trails nearby, and the campground's quiet atmosphere enhances the overall experience. However, it has limited space for large RVs, no cell service, and some sites can be quite close together, which may be a downside for some campers.

The entire Chiricahua National Monument visitor experience is unbelievably well designed. Everything from the drive to the ridge and back to the short trails up at ridge turn outs to the design and cleanliness of the campground restrooms all are a demonstration of excellence.

The campground was small and beautiful. The hosts went out of their way to make our experience great. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I enjoy Chiricahua, not least because of the size of the campground and the primitiveness of it. However, having said that we were on Site 12, which it turns out is a horrible site unless maybe one is going to use a tent. There is no way to have a small RV even approach level. I could not tell that from the photo of the site. It looks as if it had been washed by flooding waters or very fast flowing water down through it. There was no other available site while we were there.
The hiking trails and the scenery were fantastic. The people at the Visitor Center were also good.

very clean site, and well set up. The GrayJay birds were a little aggressive, taking a check directly out of my hand. Only downfall, was no fire pit to have a fire when the temps dropped below 40.
