Been coming here for the past 10 years as a family, the camp host are extremely gracious and friendly, the rest rooms are always clean. The camp grounds are kept up and free of trash. And that's why we come back every year.

The vault toilets were cleaner than some hotel rooms I've stayed in! The camp host was beyond helpful and the campground was so quiet and relaxing! I wish I lived closer so I could visit several times per year!

It was my first trip to Dogtown Lake Campground. It is an out-of-the-way place with beautiful scenery and very well-maintained. The dirt road to Dogtown Lake is rough, so take your time. We traveled from Las Vegas to Williams, AZ, via Interstate 40. It was harsher than the road to Dogtown Lake, and I started calling it the Pete Buttigieg Interstate. The campground host at Dogtown Lake recommended we go back to Las Vegas on Route 66, which connects to the 40 just passed Ashland; which is a smoother road, a little longer route, but it worked out very well.
