We had an amazing camping experience at Dogtown Lake! The campground was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. A special thank you to the hosts, Mitch and Sherry, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever needed.
The highlight of our trip was the fishing. We caught more fish than we ever have on any previous visit, which made the experience even more memorable. Between the great fishing, the scenic surroundings, and the outstanding hospitality, this was one of our favorite camping trips yet. We can't wait to come back!

The new hosts are very friendly and the campground looked amazing! In past years no one really greeted us or anything, but this time they met us at the entrance and gave us a parking pass for all four lakes in the area. The bathrooms are clean and stocked, the campsites were in good shape. This was our best stay yet!
The lake was pretty low, a few feet below the boat ramp, but the fishing and paddle boarding was good, with lots of eagles and osprey around the lake, too.

Beautiful campground, very well maintained, clean restrooms. Camp hosts were friendly and welcoming to everyone that came in or left. I went alone with just my dog for 3 nights, felt very safe and comfortable. It doesn’t matter if you’re on a tent or camper each site is great. There are plenty of fallen trees to collect wood from. But always check fire restrictions before you go up.
