The hosts at Dogtown Lake Campground are fantastic. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and were nice without noticeably bad smells. The camping areas in proximity to the lake is great. Additionally, close to Williams to drive into town for food. The Lake didn't seem to have as many stocked trout this year as last year, but otherwise was enjoyable!

Beautiful clean campground with lots of space around each site. Faucets for drinking water, a lake for fishing but not great for kayaking or boats. Very dry and levels low. Active hosts. One nice trailhead that leads to the top of a nearby hill (6.5 miles total)

Campground is vey clean. Camp hosts take very good care of the property. Only down side is the biting No-see-ums and there is noise from the train. Though train noise is manageable. Road up to the campground has a lot of ruts by the dispersed camping area.

We reserved a spot that did not work for pop-up trailer. With a limited information on the website the spot for our trailer places our door away from the campsite. The camp host found us another site, and asked us to pay for it. We were told if they collected the money from our site it would offset the cost. We still ended up paying an additional $30. Why they would not just change our site knowing we already paid is beyond me. It felt like a scam.

The area was nice. Very beautiful. The host was very helpful. The lake was pretty. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Will he planning another trip soon.

We enjoyed every minute and the camp host were so kind. But we kept getting splinters from the table and bench. Other then that it was awesome

In Williams, Arizona, turn south onto 4th Street (County Road 73) and drive about 5 miles to Forest Road 140. Turn left and proceed about 4 miles to Forest Road 132. Turn left and proceed 1 mile to Dogtown Campground. Forest Roads 140 and 132 are gravel roads.
The nearest major road is Interstate 40, located approximately 20 miles south of Dogtown Lake Campground.
Elevation: 2158 feet
7.9 mi drive to downtown Williams (about 23 min)

General
- This is a high elevation facility; use caution when traveling from lower elevations
- Standard Single Family sites: Recreation Use Fee allows ONE camping unit ONLY. Double & Group sites: refer to Specific Site # for capacity limits.
- Extra Vehicles: Cannot be paid for in advance - upon arrival coordinate with the host for payment and where to park.
- Late Arrivals: campers are not considered a "no-show" until 24 hours after arrival date check in time. Our policy is that your site will not be released before that.
- FIRST COME FIRST SERVE sites must be booked in person. DO NOT call to determine availability, as they are only available on-site.
- No utility hookups.
