We had an excellent stay here!! The set up of the camp is super cute and everything was ready for us upon arrival. This location was very close to the Grand Canyon (~30 mins) so the early morning drive after we checked out flew by. The hosts were helpful and friendly after I had trouble with the propane heater (self inflicted as a heater newbie lol) and solved my issue promptly and kindly. Also, the view of the stars at night was breathtaking. I would love to stay here again.

My stay at Wander Camp Grand Canyon was an amazing experience. The location was peaceful and perfect for stargazing, just a short drive from the South Rim. I loved the cozy tent setup — clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The staff were friendly and made check-in super easy. Even though it’s more rustic, the shared bathrooms were well maintained. Waking up to the sunrise in the desert felt incredible. It was the perfect mix of camping and comfort, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon.

The place is definitely worth a visit, but be prepared. It’s a real camping experience.
Some reviewers complain about the lack of electricity, the bumpy road, or the showers not working properly. But honestly, that’s part of the deal when you’re in the middle of nowhere. It’s not a hotel, guys.
We stayed there during our honeymoon and had the best time: the hosts were super welcoming, the tent was cozy, the night sky was full of stars, and the barbecue was amazing. (And yes, you’ll smell like smoke after sitting by the fire…what did you expect?)
During our stay, the showers and toilets worked fine. They weren’t spotless, but again – this isn’t a hotel. The two people running the place do their best with the limited resources they have.
I’d love to come back!

This place was amazing. They took all the hard parts of camping & made it entertaining for my family to enjoy.
Dont get me wrong I Love to camp with the whole camp gear but being able to pull up & download our belongings within 20 is a win for me.
I took a Propane Grill set-up for all my cooking needs but they offer dinner for a reasonable price off a food truck. All meals had to be prepared & eaten in the dining area so not attract insects & wild life to the camp sites. Also camp fires had to be in specific areas to PREVENT FORREST FIRES(Smokey the bears words).

We had a fantastic time! We really loved the atmosphere and the tent-style setup – it was clean and well-equipped. Of course, it still felt a bit nomadic, but we didn’t miss a thing. There’s a little food stall where you can buy meals. Parking was right next to our tent, with a dedicated spot for each tent. The tent itself was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a chilly night, but we didn’t feel cold at all because the blanket was wonderfully warm. We were given a small lamp for lighting inside the tent, which was very handy. The toilets were clean, and considering that the camp is literally in the middle of nowhere, they managed to keep everything very hygienic.
The only challenge was the road leading to the camp – it’s a dirt road from the main road, and quite tricky for a regular car. The hostess was kind and very helpful. In terms of value for money, it was absolutely worth it! The concept and the execution were perfect – they really struck the golden balance between nomadic and modern.
