Great location a few steps from the lake. Hosts were friendly, available and we had great neighbors (quiet at night). The road in is rough, but we took that as a positive that the whole city of Phx wouldn't be driving in to camp.
We caught 6 large mouth bass, mountain biked around the lake, kayaked in the lake, explored the area on foot, enjoyed campfires and meeting lots of pups at campsites surrounding us. Would definitely go back to this spot.
Black Bear snack shop was a bonus treat to enjoy ice cream!

The hosts, Dan and Lis, were very friendly and outstanding people. The campground is well maintained and very quiet. Even when it’s close to full. We went there twice this season and will definitely be going back come spring time.

Beautiful campground! This was our first trip to White Horse, We took the wrong road in which was 18 miles of chatter bumps so I was pretty skeptical by the time we rattled our way there in our 40ft motorhome but the campsite we reserved was had plenty of room and was very level.
The camp hosts were very friendly and very helpful, the fishing was pretty good, we caught some small bass, a few trout and some catfish. This kids were delighted to discover a good truck (they referred to it as the snack shack). On the way home the hosts pointed us in the direction of a much shorter and smoother road (thank goodness our we'd still be there lol)
All in all it was a great weekend getaway!

Very nice camp ground with reasonably sized spaces. The lake is beautiful with plenty of fish in it. Not a lot of keepers but more then enough to have some fun.

Danny, our host, was awesome. He was direct in his instructions and very polite when we bumped up against those instructions inadvertently. His guidance was very much appreciated! Thanks!

Host was friendly and answered questions. Fire ring wasn't cleaned out but site was clean and ready when we arrived a little early. The food truck is nice and the campground was quiet after dark. Im sure its a policy but the grass/weeds in the site was almost knee deep. Would be nice if it as trimmed. Not the whole campground but just maybe a 20 foot radius. But that is just being picky
