Clean and comfortable campsite with a nice area to pitch tent. The lake is beautiful and we rented a canoe. There's also nice trails around the lake.

Overall, this is a great campground. It's in really great condition, and the views of the lake can't be beat. Even if you don't get a lake view, the surrounding meadows and forest make it worthwhile. We had A19, which had enough room to setup 2 tents and had solid views of the lake, but I would certainly try for A15 or A14 in the future. A19 was close to the bathroom, but also had more trees obstructing the lake view as well as a view of the day use area. We hiked to Sycamore Canyon which was about 2 mi each way, but worth it. Definitely will be back!

Not having a dump station seems to be an issue at the campground. Plus no way to water up your trailer for the price of the campsite. Also, no dump station meanings. There may be many people dumping illegally.

Setting is wonderful. Saw javelina, deer, osprey, Canadian geese and a multitude of orioles and songbirds. Fishing was poor, however. Bathrooms were decent. One ding: Neighbors can be a distraction when they don’t follow the rules, but that is normally a rarity.
