The campground was keep very clean. Host was helpful/friendly/accessible (even though it was his day off), The view of the lake from our campsite was absolutely gorgeous. It truly was the quietus Campground I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Without a doubt we plan on returning next season.

Making reservations we easy...beautiful drive in. Its dirt but in good shape dry and dusty. Deer, cows , horses on the way in. Camp ground was beautiful. Clean bathrooms, large sites, beautiful lake.

Great experience as before. Only strong suggestions would be is to have a separate entrance and or parking lot for all the utility/ recreational bikes. Having the tranquility of the lake, pristine camp sites and hospitality falls back to the sound of the ATV vehicles motors. Maybe stronger rules or regulations shall be looked into for a better experience. Especially when you drive about 4 miles away to get some relaxation.

Wonderful lake and nice sites. Host does good job keeping it clean. Our place on the regular basis. Hike to rim of Sycamore Canyon beautiful with carpets of yellow flowers.

Dump station wasn’t working. Fees should be reduced if facilities aren’t working. Kinda frustrating

All the sites were very clean and the hosts helpful when though they were off duty. We caught a few bluegill and enjoyed being away from the city lights and noise.

It’s a beautiful, quiet, clean campsite and we can’t wait to go back. It is a little further out of the way than we realized when we booked the site and as it will tell you in the directions to the site, you have to take a couple forest roads to get there so be mindful that most cars are fine but it can be a rough ride out there. There’s a snack shack too on site that sells snacks/drinks and a few essentials like bug spray and chapstick and they also do kayak rentals. As I said, we can’t wait to return.

Nice clean campsites. Tent camping was fine. We rented a canoe at the lake and spent a peaceful time out there. I recommend an SUV or truck to get to site. Primitive roads.

In Williams, Arizona, turn south onto 4th Street/County Road 73 and drive about 9 miles to Forest Road 110. Turn left and proceed for approximately 7 miles to FR 109. Turn left again and follow for about 3 miles to the campground.
Forest Roads 110 and 109 are high-use roads and can become rough during peak season. During the winter, roads may be closed due to snow cover.
The nearest major road access is via Interstate 40, approximately 20 miles south of the campground, accessible from Williams.

General
- Potable water and hydrants are for drinking only; filling water tanks in motorhomes and RVs is not allowed due to limited supply
- Standard Single Family sites: Recreation Use Fee allows ONE camping unit ONLY. Double & Group sites: Refer to Specific Site # for capacity limits.
- FIRST COME FIRST SERVE sites must be booked in person. DO NOT call to determine availability, as they are only available on-site.
- Only small electric boat motors allowedNO swimming allowed in the lake.

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- Late Arrivals: campers are not considered a "no-show" until 24 hours after arrival date check in time. Our policy is that your site will not be released before that.
- There isn't a dump station at the campground. Nearest dump station is in the town of Williams.
- Extra Vehicles: Cannot be paid for in advance - upon arrival coordinate with the host for payment and where to park.
- Opening and closing dates are weather permitting, please call 928-537-8888 for more information.
- This is a high elevation facility: use caution when traveling from lower elevations.
- Bears frequent the area; please obey all food storage rules and regulations. Check with your host for details.
