Everything was in good shape and the new camp hosts Courtney and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I did miss the food truck though! Bring them back, please!

No water. Lake was incredibly low. And the snack/ice cream place was no longer there. Somewhat disappointing all around.

Never got my refund, never stayed there. My van broke down and the person at Recreation.gov couldn't cancel the reservation. He just sent a refund request to Kaibab Forest. No one has contacted me, no one has refunded me. It was an emergency that left me camping in a parking lot in Albuquerque for five days. $113 is a lot for me to lose, but I did call to let you guys know what was going on. It's ridiculous I can't cancel anything or get refunds anymore from this website!!! PLEASE! I BEG YOU! SEND ME MY REFUND! No one seems to want to help me with this....

I hope that the lack of drinking water is solved soon. Luckily we had just enough for our 4-night stay.
The hosts were very friendly, and White Horse Lake remains one of my family's favorite campgrounds.

The Campground has been nice in years past but this year it wasn't as pleasant. The sites aren't cleaned up from debris/trash and they are getting overgrown with weeds. Maintenance is definitely getting behind. Toilets were fine overall. In addition, there is no water available. There were always vendors by the lake with some food and activities, but none of those were there this year. We like this campground, hope it isn't going downhill and this was just a off year. Might be a new contractor, that is the rumor we heard up there - if that is the case, I hope that they improve.
