Surprisingly clean bathrooms for tent campers, which was a great bonus. The entire campground was well-maintained, and the staff at check‑in were courteous and welcoming. Setting up was simple, the layout was easy to navigate, and we had quick access to the lake for fishing. It was also super easy to find our friends in nearby sites. I’d definitely come back again.

Sites are clean and the hosts were friendly. On weekdays the campgrounds had a few campers and fishing was great. Would like if the bathrooms closest to the lake were open and we missed the food trailer for our daily ice cream. This campground is a great way to get away.

We had such a wonderful time! We had the group site on Loop F. The site was complete with 7 individual campsites with a veranda in the middle of them. The veranda housed 3 tables, 2 large BBQ grills and a really big firepit. The site is private, gated, and a locked outhouse for the group only. Lake was good for fishing - catfish and large mouth bass were caught-and-released. The drive is definitely a commitment -- not long mile-wise but very long time-wise. Expect at least 45 minutes of washboard gravel road. Views, however, were wonderful. If you relax and know that you aren't going to "make good time", it's not too bad. There's a true gem at the end! Thanks also to the staff who were attentive and good-humored, adding to our enjoyment.

We rated this campsite as very good because it was easy access to drinkable water, the campsite was ready for our arrival, and it was nice to be close to the water. We wish the bathrooms available for use were closer as the ones set closest to us were locked and used for storage

Love this site! However I was told by management that a double site could accommodate 2 travel trailers, which was not true. Lastly the road to get to the site was horrible.
