The campsite was great! It was a nice treat to have a snack truck on site. My only complaint is the bathrooms had a strong odor. We saw the campground hosts drive by a few times, but never spoke to us or waved hello.

Beautiful campground but the roads in were a nightmare!! Even with going 3 to 10 miles per hour, our shower door shattered and our friends rv door was damaged, some of their trim came loose and their water heater housing came off! We heard similar stories from other campers. Even though the web site lists a dump station, it has been out of service for five years! We thought it was an absolutely lovely spot but we won't go back until the roads are graded! Our tax dollars at work, folks!

Sure wish the dirt road was paved. Every year more damage is done to our trailer. We love it once we get there, but debating if it will be worth it every year.

Nice quiet campgrounds around a small lake (i would call it a pond). Excellent place to get outta the heat in the summer. Only bad thing is the road to get to the campground from the I-40 is a washboard the whole way.

Very restful, in a great position for some wonderful hiking trails into Sycamore Falls area. Really enjoyed the tent pad area and the lake. The Bull Frogs were pretty noisy, but they truly added to the charm. Would definitely return. Colin.

Really pleased with the area, pleasant weather, beautiful lake and clean bathrooms..
Only thing that can improve is the road to the campground.. last 5 miles is a very rough road.

Gorgeous campground, with the longest and most bumpiest road I have ever driven on. The road in tore up our 10 year old tailer like nothing I have ever experienced and we have 3 kiddos.
